The mission of the Sacramento Metro Chamber is to foster regional economic prosperity, an undertaking sought since 1895 when the Metro Chamber was first established.
The Metro Chamber is the region's leading business organization for promoting economic strength and serving as a unified voice of business throughout the six-county Sacramento region. As one of the largest chambers in California, we bring business interests to the forefront of civic and community leaders' agendas, inspiring landmark economic development projects, important public policy issues and business growth.
West Sacramento Chamber of Commerce
Over the last year, the chamber staff and directors worked hard to reshape the West Sacramento Chamber of Commerce. We introduced tiered membership, created two working groups—one for economic development and another for membership, added networking and learning opportunities, and drafted a strategic plan that will keep our chamber strong in mission and finances for years to come.
California Small Business Certification
Certification as a Small Business with the California state government provides small and micro businesses with greater access to purchasing opportunities with the state. Some large corporations, such as utility companies, that have government contracts are also mandated to work with small companies for a portion of their purchases or to fulfill specific criteria of a government contract.
